Pigs are very sensitive to temperature, and different ages have different requirements for temperature. The temperature of piglets at birth is 32-34°C, the suitable temperature for 1-3 days is 30-32°C, 4-7 days is 28-30°C, 26-28°C for 2 weeks postpartum, 24-26°C for 3 weeks postpartum, and weaning is 24°C. Note that when piglets are weaned and transferred, the temperature of the nursery pen is about 2°C higher than that of the farrowing room.
